Realtime status, training assets, and a home for the Brown EMS Corps
For those of you who are on facebook, be sure to become a fan of EMTs at Brown. In addition to posting choice updates from the blog, we will be setting up some community features for the EMTs at Brown student group and corps.
For those summer course students reading this: You will not pass the summer course unless you become a fan. No fan = see you next summer. Just like the “CHUBBY BUNNY” trauma assessment incident last night, this is not an idle threat.

That’s right - The much-hyped 2009 Brown EMS run EMT-B certification course has begun with last night being the first class in a two part CPR series, to be concluded tomorrow. We are happy to report that there were 100% fewer tears shed and complaints filed than last year’s CPR debacle, although that may change in 24 hours. To be continued!!!
The 2009 Summer Course page is also now live under the training section, so be sure to check out the various resources available, including online course syllabus and training videos of the skills stations (coming soon).
