One of our supervisors currently deployed in Fargo, ND has taken the following pics of the field hospital RI1-DMAT has established at Jefferson College in North Dakota. We’ll continue updating as they come in, or alternatively you can view their blog here . More pictures after the jump:
Trade those flip flops for duty boots, we’re back to normal operating schedule. Say goodbye to paid stipends (until commencement!) and hello to truck checks, washing the truck, paperwork, patient care, paperwork. Yay!
There is truly no rest for the weary. Brown EMTs in action, 24/7 over spring break. Last time we checked, the count was up to four (4!) calls so far.
More notably, two members of superb supervisory squad were deployed to Fargo, ND as part of the RI1-DMAT team sent to throw sandbags at a tidal wave. And maybe help somebody along the way. Good luck, RI1-DMAT, and don’t drown.
